When I founded Nomad Consulting, it wasn’t because I wanted to start another business. It was because I’ve seen too many good organizations fail for reasons that have nothing to do with passion or purpose.

Across my 25 years in the nonprofit sector, I’ve sat in boardrooms, classrooms, and community centers where people came together with one goal: to make life better for others. But far too often, I’ve also seen what happens when great intentions meet limited information. A lack of strategic planning, unclear governance structures, and weak compliance practices can derail even the most promising initiatives. And when that happens, communities suffer, not because people didn’t care, but because they didn’t have the right support.

Nomad Consulting was born from that realization.
